2 Thessalonians 3:3

If my life had a theme, it would be about “God’s faithfulness”.

If I were to describe God in one word, it would be “faithful”.

If our marriage were a Biblical passage, it would be 2 Thessalonians 3:3 — “But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.”

Together or apart, this is our prayer for one another. We are unafraid. We are not tempted. Because we know that our faithful God shall establish us and guard us against the evil one.

This Covid-19 pandemic brought you home my love, for us to once again spend our days together following our decision in 2017 to work in separate cities.

We know that this will not last, because soon, once quarantines are lifted, your WFH status would be lifted, too, and you’ll be traveling again for work.

But we remain unafraid for we are secured in His protective arms. We know that God is faithful and He is going to be with us while we journey fulfilling our dreams; and that one day, He will grant us our hearts’ common desire to be (and to work) together in “one city”.

Thank you for your hardwork my love — for the ultimate sacrifice of living alone in a big city for work. You are an inspiration. You are our everyday hero.
